Story Submission

Every sentence has a story.
And every story deserves to be seen as human.

Incarceration often reduces people to a single moment, a single charge, or a single label. What gets lost are the experiences that came before—and the growth that can happen after.

This project is an invitation to share stories that are rarely heard—stories written by those who are incarcerated, or by the loved ones who carry the weight of their absence, their memories, and their hope. There is no expectation to explain or justify—only to tell the truth as you know it.

How it works

Step 1: Submit the person’s profile for verification.
Share their information so we can confirm accuracy and create a profile.

Step 2: If approved, we publish a free profile and email you the next steps.
Once verified, we’ll upload a free profile page and send instructions to your inbox for submitting stories linked to that profile. You’ll use the password you select here for story submissions going forward.

Your submission will be treated with care and reviewed before publication. If shared, it becomes part of a larger effort to restore context, compassion, and understanding.
